Eligibility Criteria:

I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

II. Educational Qualification:

• Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5):

• HSC (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND 2 Years of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). OR
• HSC (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND 4 Years of Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).OR
• HSC (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND a Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

• Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8):

• The candidate must have completed a BSc or BA in the relevant discipline and B.Ed or Secondary Education with a minimum of 50% Marks necessary. OR
• 4 Years of Diploma in Educational Course with at least 45% Marks.

III. Age Limit:

A Candidate must not be less than 18-40 Years of Age.
