They can get admitted to 22 NLUs or other private law colleges who accept the CLAT UG,PG scores. The CLAT PG score is also used for recruitment in certain public sector companies like ONGC and BHEL. The CLAT UG exam consists of 150 questions from English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.CLAT UG exams are the most common exams taken by law aspirants. Around 50000 students take the exam.

In order to apply and sit for the CLAT 2024 exam, the candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria.
The educational qualification required for CLAT UG exam is that the candidates who aim to sit for the exam must pass the 10+2 exams or equivalent from a recognised board or university. However, only those candidates who fulfill the following criteria will only be allowed admission if they qualify the CLAT UG exams:
a. Candidates must pass the class 12 exams from a recognised university or board
b. The General,OBC,Specially-abled person (SAP) must score 45% in the qualifying exam(class 12)
c. The sc,st must score 40% in the qualifying exam (class 12)
Registration for CLAT 2024 exam will soon be open. Candidates need to check the eligibility and other details before applying for the exam. They will be able to directly apply from the official website once the registration is open. It seems that the usual timeline will be followed and the registration will be open from 1st of July 2024. The registration fee for CLAT is Rs. 4000.
The CLAT UG exam 2024 is going to be an online exam consisting of 5 portions. The Consortium of NLUs has advised students to go through the latest exam pattern where there will be 150 questions of 1 mark each, which needs to be answered in 120 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each negative response. There will not be any descriptive paper in CLAT Exam UG 2024.
