DRDO MTS Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must check the official notification to determine whether they fall under the eligibility criteria or not. If at any stage of recruitment, the candidate is found to be ineligible, the appointment of the candidate shall be canceled.

The eligibility criteria for the MTS is as follows-


The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

The candidate must be aged between 18-25 years of age.

The age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PWD, ESM, Widows, Divorced Women & Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Central Govt. Civilian Employees, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per the Govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed 10th class or equivalent level of education from a recognized State Board or Industrial Training Institute.

Those waiting for results must have obtained the result by the date of applying.

No Objection Certificate

PWD candidates who are working in Govt. Departments should obtain No-objection Certificate from their present employer.

Medical Standards

The candidate should be mentally and physically fit as per the standards mentioned in the official Notification.

The examination process consists of two stages.

  • Tier I- Screening Process
  • Tier II- Final Selection
