TET is also known as Teacher Eligibility Test. It is one of the most prestigious government organizations jobs that announces thousand of recruitment on yearly basis. TET is conduct at both State and National levels. However, a new announcement process by the government said: The validity periods of the Teacher Eligibility Test certificate will be a lifetime. Previously, the validity of the TET certificate was 7 Years. It is one of the biggest news announced by the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank'.
Hence, it is one of the biggest opportunity for the aspirants of TET who are preparing for Teaching careers. The extension of lifetime could bring a biggest impact in the life of TET candidates.
"This will be a positive step in increasing the employment opportunities for candidates aspiring to make a career in the teaching field," Mr Pokhriyal said.
He further said, the respective State Government and Union Territories will also look forward to revalidate the TET certificate for those candidates whose periods of 7 years already elapsed.
This announcement will also bring the revolutions among the candidates preparing for TET because this certificate is one of the essential things for a teacher appointment in the School.
This changes has been made under the guidelines of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) dates February 11th, 2011.
During early phases, The TET pass certificate was valid for only 7 Years, and during such timing, there was no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a certificate. A person who has qualified in the exam was allowed to appear again to improve their score.
TET exam is conducts by both State and National level. The Central TET is known as CTET which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
