The SSC JE 2022-23 Tier-1 examination was held in 2022. The SSC CGL 2022-23 tier-1 exam result was released in December 2022 along with cut-off marks. Examinees can check the SSC JE 2022-23 tier-1 result and cut-off by clicking on the link given below.
The SSC JE Exam 2022-23 Notification was released on 12th August 2022 and the application started too. The last date to apply was till 02nd September 2022.
SSC JE 2023 Application Fee
Applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/- to appear for SSC JE 2022-23 Exam. There is an exemption of Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and reserved category students from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2022-23 Exam.
•The fee can be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.
• If candidates want to pay the fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. They can deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidates must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.
Steps to Apply for SSC JE 2022-23 Exam
Step 1: Click on the official link for SSC JE which is provided above on this page or Go to the official website of SSC (https://ssc.nic.in/).
Step 2: The registration link for SSC JE 2023 will open up in the new window.
Step 3: Click on the New User/Register Now link.
Step 4: To begin with the SSC JE Apply Online 2022-23, a candidate needs to provide basic details of themselves like name, parents' name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form of SSC JE 2023. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC JE 2023 exam.
Candidates are required to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC JE 2022-23.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photographs and signatures by following the requisites mentioned by the Staff Selection Commission of India.
Photograph - The photograph of a candidate must be clicked in front of white colour or light-coloured background. The size of the photograph must be more than 4 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the photograph must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
Signature - The signature provided by the candidate must be in black or blue ink on the white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature that needs to be submitted must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the image should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.
Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC JE 2022-23.
Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC JE 2022-23 once to look for any glitches in the form, if any as the application form once submitted cannot be edited again.
Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC JE 2022-23 application form and pay the required application fee.
It is advised that Candidates download and get print copies of the submitted application form of SSC JE 2022-23.

There are two papers in the SSC JE 2022-23 Exam. Paper 1 is of 200 marks and paper 2 of 300 marks both of which are Multiple Choice Questions. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Candidates must note the recent Exam Pattern, which shows that those appearing for the post of JE (Civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of papers I & II. On the other hand, candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.
