Eligibility:

I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate is issued to him/her by the Government of India.

II. Age Limits:

(a) A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years to the maximum age of 35 years.

(b) The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxed:

i. up to a maximum of five years for candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe if the posts are reserved for them;

ii. up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates if the posts are reserved for them;

iii. up to a maximum of five years for ex-employees of banking institutions whose services had to be terminated for reasons of economy or because of bank going into liquidation and personnel retrenched from Government Offices after at least one year's service and currently registered with Employment Exchange;

iv. up to a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh during the period from 1st January, 1980 to 31st December,1989;

v. up to a maximum of five years in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service as on 1st September 2019 and have been released;

a. on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be

completed within one year from 1st September, 2019) otherwise than by way of

dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency; or

b. on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service; or

c. on invalidment.

vi. up to a maximum of five years in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service as on 1st September 2019 and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three months' notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment.

vii. For Gen/EWSs up to a maximum of 10 years in the case of PwBD. For SC/ST/ PwBD up to a maximum of 15 years and for OBC PwBD up to a maximum of 13 years, subject to reservation of vacancies under the respective post. Relaxation in upper age limit for PwBD will be subject to the posts having been identified suitable for such disabilities.

viii. For candidates having experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/Financial Institution in Public Sector as also prior experience in Reserve Bank of India, upper age limit is relaxed to the extent of number of completed years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For such candidates, upper age limit should not exceed 33 years including experience. For experience, probationary period will not be reckoned.

ix. For eligible staff candidates, the relaxation in age limit is according to RBI circular CO. HRMD. No. G-75/ 5599/ 05.01.01/ 2013-2014 dated December 20, 2013.

x. For recruitment to the post of Gr. B (DR)-DEPR/DSIM candidates having Master's Degree with Research/Teaching experience at a recognised Indian/Foreign University/Institute will be eligible for relaxation in upper age to the extent of number of years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For experience, probationary period will not be reckoned.

III. Minimum Educational Qualifications: The following minimum educational qualifications are prescribed for the posts:

1. For Development Assistant:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (Pass Class SC/ST/PWBD/EXS applicants ).

2. For Development Assistant (Hindi):

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 50% marks with English and Hindi as Compulsory from either English/Hindi Medium. (Pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS applicants).

OR,

Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi and English as main subject with 50% marks. (Pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS applicants).

Apply Online:

Candidates applying for the NABARD exam 2022 can apply for the exam by following a certain set of steps:

  • Aspirants can visit the official website of NABARD (nabard.org) to apply online.
  • Candidates need to enter their basic qualifications and other details asked in the form and upload documents accordingly.
  • Candidates need to upload a set of documents, which includes a photograph, signature, handwritten declaration and thumb impression.
  • Candidates must verify the details carefully before making the final submission as no changes can be made in the form once the payment is complete.
  • The form will not be accepted until the online payment is complete. The application fee for this exam is INR 450 for Gen/OBC candidates and INR 50 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in NABARD Development Assistant.
  • Candidates must also note that if any discrepancy is found in the application form, NABARD holds the right to reject the application at any time during the recruitment procedure.

NABARD Recruitment 2022 - Admit Card

  • NABARD Exam 2022 Admit Card Successful applicants for NABARD Main Examination 2022 will be issued their interview call letters very soon.
  • Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of bank.
  • Candidates should check the e- call letter carefully and bring discrepancies/ errors, if any, to the notice of Board immediately.

Documents Required with Admit Card:

  • In addition to NABARD Admit Card, candidates need to present a valid Photo ID proof issued by the GOI or the State Government (original as well as a photocopy) for verification.
  • Acceptable photo ID proofs are PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph etc.

Interview:

  • NABARD interview round for selected candidates schedule to be announce very soon
  • Only candidates qualifying in the Main exam will be invited for interview round.
  • NABARD Admit Card (with New Roll Numbers) indicating date, time and venue of the interview will be sent separately to shortlisted candidates on their registered email address.
  • The Interview can be done in English or Hindi language as opted by the candidate.
  • Final merit list will be based on candidates performance in main exam and interview round.
