WBCS Group D Personality Test Released 2021
The much awaited WBCS Notification 2021 for the recruitment result of WBCS Group-D personality test has been finally released by the West Bengal Public Service Commission. The final result of Group A, B, C, & D has been updated. There are different groups in recruitment of such examination based on choice and merit of scored number. These are Group A, Group B ,Group C and Group D. In general, As per record of the WBPSC the candidates with higher scores opt for WBCS (Exe), WBPS and some allied services as their first choice due to less strenuous nature of the service and the lure of metro posting. WBCS Eligibility Criteria 2020:
The eligibility criteria of WBCS 2020 is prescribed by Public Service Commission, West Bengal. WBCS eligibility criteria 2020 includes age limit, educational qualification, etc. In order to become eligible for WBCS 2020, candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions mandated by the Commission.
- Nationality- Candidates have to be a citizen of India
- Age limit– Candidates must be between 21 to 36 years of age (Group A & C) and 20 to 36 years of age for (Group B), For Group D 21 to 39 Years of Age.
- Relaxation of age– Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories form West Bengal will be able to avail age relaxation in the upper age limit. For SC and ST candidates, age will be relaxed by 5 years while OBC candidates will be providedupto three years of age relaxation. Candidates from PwD categories will be given age concession upto 45 years
- Education Qualification– Candidate must have a degree from a recognised University and ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali to be eligible for WBCS.
Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam 2020:
There will be 200 questions to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes. It is a combination of General studies subjects.

- All subjects are compulsory for “Group A & B”
