The IBPS clerk notification for 2024 has not been released yet but aspirants should carefully check the notification when it is released to know the eligibility, syllabus, and application process. Last year the vacancies were only 2557 in number but it is 6035 in 2024. This in itself is an exciting opportunity for more and more aspirants to apply for the IBPS clerk exams. The link for application for the IBPS clerk 2024 exam will be activated from 7th October onwards. The official calendar of IBPS 2024 set the date for the prelims to be held from 28th august to 4th September 2024 but they were postponed and were held in December 2024.
Usually the notifications were released in November, but this year it was released early. Last year 10.82 lakh students applied for the IBPS clerk 2024 exams out of which 7.49 lakh appeared for the exam. This year it is expected that 10lakh students would be appearing for the exam.

The institute of banking personnel selection or IBPS is an autonomous body which is responsible for conducting clerical post exams. The eligibility criteria for the IBPS Clerk has been divided into three different stages by the officials of IBPS. Every candidate needs to fulfill the following IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria 2024. If any candidate fails to do so, his/her candidature will be cancelled by the officials.
The following criteria need to fulfilled by the candidates which are mentioned in a detailed way:
1. Nationality: Aspirants wanting to apply for the IBPS Clerk 2024 exam should fulfil the first stage of eligibility which is as follows:
● He/She must have a citizenship of India, or
● He/She must be a subject of Nepal, or
● He/She must be a subject to Bhutan, or
● A Tibetan Refugee who came to India to settle permanently.
● An Indian Originated person who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Zaire, and other east African countries whom the government of India has issued the certificate of eligibility.
2. Age-based Eligibility: According to the official IBPS Clerk age limit criteria, the minimum age of the candidate should be 20 and a maximum of 28 years as of 1st July 2024.
3. Educational Qualification: The educational qualification required for an IBPS clerk is that of a minimum qualification of graduation from a recognized university on or before 01st August 2024.
