BPSC 2022 Exam Date Latest Updates

The BPSC admit card 2022 has been released by the Bihar Public Service Commission for the 67th BPSC exam. The candidates will be appearing for the BPSC exam as per schedule which is on 30 September 2022. The exam shall be held in a single shift from 12 PM to 2 PM. The registered candidates can download the admit cards from 20 September onwards for which the link is active now.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) had released the 67th BPSC notification pdf on its official website on 24 September 2021. Candidates are eligible to apply for gazetted Group A and B posts in various departments of BPSC. As per the BPSC Notification, BPSC vacancy 2021-2022 is now for 802 posts (increased) which include Bihar Administrative Service, RO, RDO, and more.

What is the BPSC Exam?

67th BPSC Admit Card 2022

BPSC has activated the 67th BPSC admit card 2022 on its official website as per its schedule which is on 20 September. The 67th BPSC exam is to be held on 30 September 2022 in one shift. It is advisable to download the hall ticket in advance to avoid last minute rush.

BPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022

BPSC has notified the eligibility criteria for Bihar civil service exam 2022. The BPSC eligibility defines the age limit and educational qualification for all the categories. It is important to go through the eligibility criteria to avoid disqualification from the exam.

BPSC Age Limit

To apply for the BPSC Exam, the BPSC age limit is defined for different categories. The BPSC age limit for general male is 20 - 37 years. The BPSC upper age limit for the remaining categories are:

BPSC Age Relaxation

BPSC has defined special provisions regarding age relaxation for several categories. BPSC age relaxation for ex-servicemen is 3 years plus the years of service, conditionally the applicant is not above 53 years of age. For the applicants applying under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category, the age relaxation of 10 years is given.

BPSC has also defined age eligibility for government servants who have been in continuous service for at least three years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years.

BPSC Educational Qualification

To apply for BPSC Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination need to have a Graduation or equivalent degree from a government-recognized university. The BPSC educational eligibility criteria do not mention a specialised field or minimum marks in graduation. The only BPSC educational criteria are to have a graduation degree from a recognized institute.

BPSC Selection Process

The selection process for the BPSC exam is based on the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview. Candidates who will complete the exams and the interview will get shortlisted for the BPSC CSE

       The BPSC Prelims Exam is qualifying in nature and the candidate who successfully clears the cutoff is eligible for BPSC Mains Exam.
