The Bihar Public Service Commission recently released the updated BPSC exam date for the 69th recruitment cycle. The 69th BPSC notification is yet to be released anytime now. The 68th recruitment cycle is also ongoing.
The new BPSC notification will contain the complete details on the exam date, vacancy, apply online start date, apply online last date, selection process, and further information. We shall update aspirants with details once it is available on the official website.
The 69th BPSC notification is to be released by the Bihar State Commission with a good number of vacancies, around a total of 281 vacancies in the last notification, as depicted below. According to the update, 43 vacancies were added for the post of Assistant Disaster Management Officer. Hence the total number of vacancies has now been increased to 324.

For the Deputy Superintendent of Police post, the minimum age eligibility is 20 years.
Reserved candidates are eligible for relaxation in the upper BPSC age limit. The age relaxation for ex-servicemen is 3 years plus the years of service. Those applying under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category, the age relaxation of 10 years is given.
● BPSC has also defined age eligibility for government servants who have been in continuous service for at least three years.
● The upper age limit for such candidates according to the Commission is relaxed by 05 years.
Aspirants should have Graduation or equivalent degree from a government-recognized university. There are no specialized fields mentioned or minimum marks in graduation. The only condition in the educational criteria is to have a Graduation degree from a recognized institute.

The BPSC selection process comprises three main stages. The final result of the candidates is based on the scores obtained by them in these three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview.
