DRDO Technician Salary

DRDO pays well to its employees. Those who are selected after clearing both the stages of examination are paid as per the 7th CPC Pay matrix, level 2. DRDO Technician Eligibility Criteria

Following is the eligibility criteria of the Tech A exam.

Nationality

Only a citizen of India can apply. It includes the candidates serving in government organizations, PSUs, Armed Forces, other organizations and departments.

Age Limit

The minimum age for appearing in the exam is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The limits are relaxed for the following classes of people as per the Govt. of India rules-

  • SC/ST

  • OBC

  • PWD

  • Widows, divorced women, and judicially separated women who have not remarried.

  • Central Govt. employees and departmental candidates

  • Candidates domiciled in J&K between 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed the 10th exam or equivalent and ITI diploma from a recognized institute or University (trade-specific). The candidates who are awaiting results of the qualification exams should not apply.

NOC Certificate

Those who are serving in government organizations, PSUs, Armed Forces, other organizations, and departments should have a valid No Objection Certificate from their present employer.

Medical Fitness

All the shortlisted candidates are required to undergo a medical examination as prescribed by a competent authority. Those who are found unfit mentally or physically are disqualified.
