WBPRB Eligibility Criteria:

I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

II. Age Limits:

• Wireless Supervisor (Technical) Grade - 21 to 20 years
• Wireless Operator - 18 to 27 years
• Agragami [West Bengal Civil Emergency Force (WBCEF)] and Agragami in the Water Wing Civil Defence (WWCD) - 18 to 40 Years
• WBNVF Agragami - 18 to 40 Years

Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/ PH/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.

III. Educational Qualification:

• Wireless Post: A Candidate need to passed 12^th exam for West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or equivalent examination from any of the recognized Boards in Science with Physics and Mathematics.
• Wireless Supervisor (Technical): A candidate need to have a graduation degree in Physics or Radio Physics or Electronics and Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology from any recognized University.
• Agragami (WBCEF) & (WWCD): A Candidate must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
• WBNVF Agragami: A candidate need to passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
