Aspirants must fill the NDA application form online. They can pay the application fee either online and offline which is INR 100. SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying the application fee. Only unmarried male and female candidates who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply for the exam, for which they need to first complete the one time registration.
The NDA admit card is released three weeks before the exam which can be downloaded from the official website by logging with either the registration number or roll number. The admit card is an important document which contains all information related to the exam. It is important to note that candidates would not receive the hard copy of the admit card by post.
The NDA exam is conducted in more than 70 cities in the country in two shifts. Candidates must select their preferred exam city while filling the application form. NDA exam consists of a written exam and SSB Interview. The written exam has two papers. The total marks allotted to the written exam are 900. The SSB Interview also contains 900 marks. The NDA syllabus is simple and has topics that candidates have studied in Class 10, 11, and 12 standards. The Mathematics section comprises topics from Algebra, Matrices, and Determinants, Trigonometry, Integral Calculus, and Differential Equation, Vector Algebra, etc. GAT comprises topics from General Knowledge and English.
