UGC NET 2022

The December 2021 and June 2022 exam cycle of the UGC NET Exam is over. The result was out on November 05, 2022 and the final answer key for UGC NET exam 2022 was released on November 02, 2022. NTA conducted the exams in four phases: July, August, September, and October. The December 2022 cycle exam notification will soon be released by the National Testing Agency on the official website after which the application process will start. The controlling body NTA released the UGC NET 2022 results on their official website in the form of a PDF on November 05, 2022, along with the scorecard and cut off marks. UGC NET Syllabus 2022

What is UGC NET?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), also known as NTA UGC NET. This is a national exam conducted for 82 different subjects , to select applicants for Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions in Indian institutions and colleges. UGC NET 2022 Education Qualification

There are  reservation policies  in the UGC NET Exam according to that of the Government of India according to which, 10% of the seats are reserved for the category General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS), 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non Creamy layer”(OBC-NCL) in the Central Universities and Institutions that are deemed to be Universities with 4% reservations horizontally for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as defined in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act, 2016) in each category.

UGC NET 2022 Application Form

The UGC NET 2022 Application Form for the December 2021 and June 2022 cycle was available from April 30 to May 30, 2022, followed by the correction window from May 30 to June 01, 2022. UGC NET exams are conducted two times a year, one in June and the other in December. The June cycle exam is conducted in July mostly, whereas the December exam is conducted in December only.

 

26. Is UGC NET Answer Key 2022 released?

UGC NET 2022 Answer Key for Phases 1, 2, and 3 is released on the official website on October 18, 2022. An answer key for Phase 4 is released on October 22, 2022. Candidates can check their responses with a question paper in the answer key PDF.

 

27. When will the UGC NET Result 2022 be declared?

UGC NET 2022 Result has been declared on the official website of NTA. By logging in with the application number and password, candidates can check their scorecard.
