       Graduation degree with 40 percent marks and has cleared or appeared in the final year exam of BEd, according to NCTE regulations. OR

       Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with a minimum of 50 percent marks and has cleared or appeared in the final year exam of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR

What is the CTET Exam?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the national-level exam CTET to recruit teachers for primary and upper primary teaching posts in central government schools like NVS, KVS, etc. Many private schools also consider CTET Certificates as compulsory eligibility criteria.
