Citizenship:

• A Candidate must be a Citizen of India

Age Limit:

• The age limit for the Security Officer and Fire officer are as follows:
• Flying Branch - 20 to 24 Years
• Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) - 20 to 26 Years

Educational Qualification:

A candidate must have Graduation passed out with a maximum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics (10+2) level or BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Or,

Cleared Section A& B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Final Year students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any backlog at the time of AFSB Testing and produce a Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.

IAF AFCAT 2021: Marital Status:

• A candidate less than 25 years of age must be unmarried.
• A candidate widows/widowers and divorcees will not be allowed below 25 years age.

IAF AFCAT 2021: Physical Condition

A Candidate must have the ability to run 01 miles (1.6 km) in 10 minutes, do 10 push-ups, and 03 chin-ups.
