The exam dates for RRB NTPC CBAT have been disclosed. The commission is all set to conduct the last stage of the selection process i.e CBAT on 30th July 2022, tentatively. Candidates who have qualified the CBT 2 exam, conducted on 9th and 10th May 2022, are eligible to appear for this stage. The Railway Recruitment Board has announced that the RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam will be conducted from 12 June to 17 June 2022. This exam date is only for the candidates who are shortlisted for pay levels 2, 3, and 5. RRB NTPC 2023 Exam Date

The Railway Recruitment Board has already conducted the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam for pay level 4 and 6 posts on 9 & 10 May 2022. Railway Recruitment Board has released the RRB NTPC notification on its official website containing all the details regarding exam date, vacancies, application form dates, eligibility criteria, age limit, exam pattern and much more. RRB has released a total of 35280 vacancies for the post of Non-Technical Popular Categories like Station Master, Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Clerk, Train Clerk, Jr Accountant, Typist etc. Also, the board has mentioned that both CBT 1 and CBT 2 of RRB NTPC 2022 will be conducted in 15 languages which are English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

What is RRB NTPC?

The full form of RRB NTPC is Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories. The RRB NTPC exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to recruit candidates as Commercial Apprentice, Goods Guard, Station Master, and many other posts across India.

RRB NTPC Eligibility

The Railway Recruitment Board defines the RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria under different components such as Nationality, age limit, and educational qualification. The candidates need to understand each component of the RRB NTPC Eligibility because if they fail to fulfil it, their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the exam.

Nationality: The candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 to permanently settle in India.

      RRB NTPC Age Limit: For undergraduate level posts, a candidate should age between 18 to 30 years, whereas, for graduate-level posts, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is capped at 33 years. Besides this, the board has given age relaxation for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

The online application for RRB NTPC 2022 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) has been closed. The board opened the RRB NTPC Application window from 1 March to 31 March 2019. RRB NTPC 2023 Admit Card

The Railway Recruitment Board has activated the RRB NTPC CBAT admit card link on 27 July 2022. Candidates can click on the link mentioned in the table below to download their CBAT hall tickets. However, candidates must note that this CBAT is conducted for the candidates who appeared for the CBT 2 exam conducted on 9 & 10 May 2022.

RRB NTPC Post Preference 2023

RRB NTPC exam is conducted to recruit graduates and undergraduates for the various posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist etc. This year, a total of 1.26 crore candidates applied for RRB NTPC and only 35280 vacancies are there. Therefore, it is necessary for the candidates to fill the RRB NTPC Post Preference carefully.

RRB NTPC 2023 Selection Process

RRB NTPC Selection Process comprises three stages which are CBT 1, CBT 2 and Skill Test. In order to get recruited for the NTPC job, aspirants need to qualify for all the stages. Aspirants will be selected based on the marks scored in CBT 1 and CBT 2 whereas the third stage will be qualifying in nature. Candidates who will qualify all three stages would be called for document verification and medical test.

Candidates must note that those who have applied for the posts of Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice do not have to appear for the skill test. They will have to appear for two-stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination.

RRB NTPC Syllabus 2023

Every year, the officials of Railways share an updated RRB NTPC syllabus along with the official recruitment notification to help candidates strategize their preparation and crack the exam with much ease. It is necessary for the candidates to know the RRB NTPC 2023 Syllabus in and out to scale their chances of clearing the exam. We have provided the subject-wise syllabus for each tier in English and Hindi:

       General Awareness Syllabus: History, Geography, Economy, Indian Polity and Governance, General Science, Current Affairs etc.

       Mathematics Syllabus: Number System, Decimals, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Time and Work, Mensuration, Percentage, Elementary Statistics, etc.

       General Intelligence & Reasoning Syllabus: Analogies, Mathematical Operations, Coding and Decoding, Data Sufficiency, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle etc.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern

To ace the RRB NTPC 2023, it is mandatory for the candidates to be well-versed with its exam pattern. As per the latest update, the union cabinet has announced the setting up of NRA to conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for all non-gazetted posts (Group B and C) under Railway Recruitment Board. The RRB NTPC exam is conducted in three stages which are:

      CBT 1

      CBT 2

      Skill Test

RRB CBT 1 is an objective type test consisting of 3 sections- General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and Mathematics. While the General Awareness section will have 40 questions, Mathematics and Reasoning will comprise 30 questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for the wrong answer. The candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to attempt the entire paper.

The exam pattern of RRB CBT 2 is similar to CBT 1 only the level and number of questions are increased. There will be 50 multiple type choice questions in the General Awareness section and 35 questions will be there in Mathematics and Reasoning section.
