IBPS Clerk is a national level competitive exam. It is conducted by the authorization of IBPS organization. The recruitment for the post is offered under the Clerical Cadre Officer 2021. However, the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2021 hold due to some political reason and has been instructed by the ministry of finance. According to the sources, the following demand is to conduct the exams into the local/regional languages.

Therefore, a committee has been set up by the centre of ministry to resolve the matter and resume the IBPS Clerk exam as soon as possible.

IBPS has provides the Official Notification on July 12^th for Clerk Recruitment 2021 and the last date to apply online for the IBPS Clerk is August 01^st . The total number of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2021 was 5830 in Public Sector Bank.

However, on July 13^th IBPS pulled a notification that CRP Clerk Link has been stopped due to the cause mentioned above. 

Issue: Allow Local Language in exam

Mainly, IBPS conduct the exams into two languages i.e. English and Hindi. However, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka “Mr.Siddaramaiah, also the leader of opposition (Congress)” from Karnataka kicked up a storm on Twitter, criticizing the central govt. for not allowing candidates to attend the IBPS exams in Kannada languages.

In the Series of Tweet, He criticized the PM Narendra Modi, Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP for not supporting kannada and being anti- kannada.

He also criticized Mrs. Sitharaman and said “Being elected to Rajya Sabha from Karnataka, she has constantly betrayed Kannadigas and Kannada. She has continued the same with respect to IBPS exams. She is unfit to represent the people of Karnataka in Rajya Sabha. She would resign if she had any shame”.

IBPS Notification:

A new committee has been set up by the ministry to decide and take some action against this anti-national news. So far the committee calling off the IBPS Recruitment 2021 from the official website.

“To look into the demand for holding examination for clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks (PSBs) in local/regional languages, a Committee has been constituted to look into the matter in its entirety. The Committee will give its recommendations within 15 days. The ongoing process of holding the examination initiated by IBPS will be kept on hold until the recommendations of the Committee are made available” said a press release by PIB.

Therefore, we can expect some new notification from the IBPS only after 15 days based on the recommendation of the committee appointed by the finance ministry.
