WBCS Eligibility Criteria 2023:

The eligibility criteria of WBCS 2023 are prescribed by Public Service Commission, West Bengal. WBCS eligibility criteria 2023 includes age limit, educational qualification, etc. In order to become eligible for WBCS 2023, candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions mandated by the Commission.

• Nationality- Candidates have to be a citizen of India
• Age limit– Candidates must be between 21 to 36 years of age (Group A & C) and 20 to 36 years of age for (Group B), For Group D 21 to 39 Years of Age.
• Relaxation of age– Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories form West Bengal will be able to avail age relaxation in the upper age limit. For SC and ST candidates, age will be relaxed by 5 years while OBC candidates will be provided upto three years of age relaxation. Candidates from PwD categories will be given age concession upto 45 years
• Education Qualification– Candidate must have a degree from a recognized University and ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali to be eligible for WBCS.
