Central Universities Common Entrance Test is commonly known as CUCET exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates appear for this national level entrance test every year to take admission into the various programmes offered at the participating universities. The official CUCET 2024 notification for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is usually released by the 3rd week of March 2024. Tentatively, NTA will conduct the online registration process for the CUCET entrance exam 2024 in March-April 2024.

The CUCET 2024 application process would include steps like registration, application, image upload and payment. 1. CUCET 2024 will be conducted in an online mode this year; earlier, the exam was offline.

2. The duration of the CUCET Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).

3. The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 100 questions for 1 mark each.

4. There will be 2 sections in CUCET 2024 Exam: Part-A and Part-B.

5. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

The syllabus for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will consist of various topics from their previous academic syllabus. For UG courses, the CUCET exam syllabus will be from the 11th and 12th academic syllabus and for PG courses, the syllabus will be from the academic syllabus of the related undergraduate syllabus.

The CUCET Admit Card will be released 10 to 15 days before the CUCET 2024 exam date. The CUCET Admit Card will have the exam centre address, exam timings application number and course applied for printed in it. The CUCET Cut Off 2024 will be released after the CUCET 2024 exam is conducted. The CUCET Cut Off will be released along with the score card of the entrance examination. Only the ones who score more than the Cut Off marks are invited to participate in online/offline CUCET counselling by the relevant authority. The CUCET Cut Off will be based on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, previous year cut off marks and the number of seats available. The cut-off marks may vary depending upon the programmes and the universities.

Each participating university will conduct its CUCET 2024 counselling process after publication of the CUCET Result 2024. The candidates have to visit the official website of the participating universities of CUCET 2024 regularly to participate in the counselling process as they have to register themselves in the counselling of CUCET 2024 and select the desired programmes within a limited period of time. Candidates have to carry the required documents along with them for verification during counsellling. Based on the choices filled by the candidates, the admission lists of CUCET 2024 will be released for the allocation of the seats after CUCET 2024 Counselling.
