IBPS Eligibility Criteria:

I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

II. Age Limits:

• Minimum Age for Officer Scale- III & II: 21 Years
• Minimum Age for Officer Scale- I & Office Asst: 18 Years
• Maximum Age for Officer Scale-III: 40 Years
• Maximum Age for Officer Scale-II: 32 Years
• Maximum Age for Officer Scale- I: 30 Years
• Maximum Age for Office Asst: 28 Years

Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/ PH/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.

III. Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have a Bachelors's Degree from a recognized University for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose)/Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)/ Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer (Manager))/ Officer Scale-II (Information Technology Officer).
• A Candidate must have a degree of CA for the post of Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant).
• A Candidate must have a degree in Law Officer Scale-II (Law Officer).
• A Candidate must have a degree of MBA (Marketing) for the post of Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer).
• A Candidate must have a degree of CA/MBA for the post of Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager).
• A Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree for the post of Officer Scale-II (Agriculture Officer) and Officer Scale-III.
