● Primary Level Minimum Qualification
The candidate should have a minimum of 50% score in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed)

the applicant must have a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education(B.El.Ed)

50% score or higher in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) and having Diploma in Education (Special Education), approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) Or Graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
● Upper Primary Level Minimum Qualification
The candidate must have completed BSc/BA or equivalent education
(or)
candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in the BEd/Secondary education exam
(or)
candidate must be qualified for the final four years in Bachelor in Elementary Education
(or)
Candidate must be appearing in the final two years of BA/ BSc Diploma in Education and clear the exam with a minimum of 45% marks.
● Age Relaxation: Candidates who fall under Exempted Category, ST, OBC-B, SC, PH, DH (Death-in-harness), ex-servicemen, and OBC-A will have a relaxation of 5% marks in Higher Secondary or its equivalent.
Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) 2021. The WB TET Selection Process 2022 involves a written exam only. The exam has two papers for primary-level and secondary-level teachers.
