☛ SSC Stenographer 2024 Notification

There were a total of 436910 candidates registered for the SSC Steno exam for Grade 'C' & 'D' out of which 185356 applicants appeared for the SSC Stenographer Exam and 11211 applicants qualified it for Grade ‘C’ and 15953 for Grade ‘D’ posts. The exam is divided into two stages - CBT and Typing test. The SSC Stenographer exam date is scheduled on November 2024, but it awaits confirmation. SSC Stenographer is a national-level competitive entrance exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Grade C and Grade D jobs for recruiting Stenographer Grade C & D in a General Central Service Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Non-Gazetted post in various Central Government Ministries/Departments, in different States & Union Territories. The SSC Stenographer age limit is 18 to 30 years for Grade C and 18 to 27 years for Grade D posts. A candidate needs to pass the 10+2 (12th) exam/HSC or its equivalent degree from a recognized University or Board. Those who cannot qualify the CBT exam won't be allowed to appear for the Skill test of typing speed 80 WPM in Hindi and 100 WPM in English. There are no medical or interview rounds. There is a different salary structure for Grade C and Grade D posts in the Staff Selection Commission. While candidates selected for Grade ‘C’ will get Rs. 34800 and their Grade pay will be 4200, whereas, on the other hand, for Grade D the salary will be Rs 20200 and their Grade Pay will be 2400.
