UP Public Service Commission, controller of Examinations, Mr. Arvind Kumar Mishra, signed an official paper on 24th August 2020 and announced the postponed date. However, It did not clarify any official reason for the postponed.

Also, the division of UPPSC commission has allowed the candidates to choose their preferred exam centre from a list of 17 districts in Uttar Pradesh.
