Tier-I Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

In terms of the SSC CGL Tier-I exam, we will have four sections in detail. These sections are English, Maths, Reasoning, and General Awareness. Attempting Tier-I exam for CGL candidates is mandatory. The exam is online mode and the total duration is one hour in complete. The exam pattern of SSC CGL consists of 25 questions in each section. Each question carries +2 marks and the wrong answer penalty is -0.5. The language of the paper is based on both English and Hindi.

Tier-II Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

Now coming to the part of the SSC-CGL Tier-II exam where papers are divided into three parts. These parts included Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III. Each paper is different from the others. Paper-I has three sections in detail and each section has two modules in total. This exam is online and computer based. Paper-I is a compulsory module for all candidates. This paper is conducted in two sessions. Session-I and Session-II will be conducted on the same day and rest on another day. Session-I will include Section-I, Section-II, and Section-III of Module-I. Paper-II of SSC-CGL is for the candidate who wishes to apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. This exam has 100 questions in total and it is an online based exam. The time duration of this exam is 2 hours in total. This is a statistical based paper that includes collection classification and representation of data measurement of Central tendency measurement of dispersion movement skewness and kurtosis. It also includes some other topics such as correlation and regression along with probability theory, probability distribution sampling theory, statistical inference, time series analysis and index numbers. Each question carries 2 marks and wrong answer penalty -1 marks.

Paper-III of SSC-CGL is for the candidate who wishes to apply for the post of Assistant Audit officer. This exam has 100 questions in total and each question carries 2 marks for right answer and -1 marks for wrong answer. It is an online based exam of SSC-CGL. The time duration of this exam is also 2 hours in total. This paper includes the syllabus of finance and accounts of basic concepts of accounting and basic concepts of economics.
