The recruitment notification for the SBI Clerk 2022 exam has not been released yet. This is the first phase of the SBI Clerk Recruitment. The SBI Clerk Prelims exam date is yet to be announced. The Main exam will be conducted after a month of thse preliminary exam. The SBI Clerk Prelims Exam is an online objective test of 100 marks and 60 Minutes duration.
There will be 100 questions to be asked. There will be no changes in the exam pattern of SBI Clerk Prelims Exam 2022, which are listed as follows -
● There is a Sectional time limit in SBI Clerk Prelims Exam. In the exam, each section i.e. Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language, will have a separate timing of 20 Minutes.
● There is no Sectional Cutoff in Prelims Exam. In SBI Clerk Prelims 2022, there are no minimum qualifying marks i.e. cutoff for any section.

SBI Clerk Mains is the most important stage of SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022. The candidates will be selected for the SBI Clerk Post based on their obtained marks scored in Mains Examination as there is no further interview procedure.
There are no minimum qualifying marks (Sectional Cutoff) for each of the sections. Candidates only need to clear the overall cutoff for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam. The candidates need to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation on overall aggregate marks will be given.

● The candidates who pass the SBI Clerk Mains Examination will be eligible for the next phase of recruitment i.e Local Language Test.
● If candidates can show the 10th or 12th Certificate as evidence that they have studied the opted local language need not appear for the Language Test.
● For other successful candidates who are unable to show such a certificate, a specified local language test will be conducted. This test will be conducted after provisional selection but before the joining process.
● The local language test will be conducted to check the proficiency of candidates in speaking, reading, and writing the opted local language.
● If candidates are not proficient in opted local language they would be disqualified and would not be eligible for any further process.
The final selection of a candidate will be based on fulfilling the following three parameters -
1. The Marks scored in SBI Clerk Mains Examination.
2. After verifying the candidate's eligibility for the post and information filled in the online SBI Clerk application.
3. After qualifying in the test of the specified local language (If applicable).
Merit list will be finalized category-wise and State Wise. The Candidates will be posted in the state for which they are applying. The candidates will not be entitled to inter/intra-state transfer in the first 5 years of Service.
● There will also be a waiting list. This waitlist will be up to 50% vacancies, state, and category wise.
● In order to be on this waitlist, a candidate needs to secure minimum qualifying marks as specified by the SBI.
● The candidates selected for the post of Junior Associates/Clerk will have to serve a minimum probation period of 6 months.
● During this period, the junior associates will be required to complete 15 prescribed e-lessons for getting confirmed joining in the SBI.
● In case they fail to complete 15 prescribed e-lessons, the probation period will be extended until the completion time.
● The performance of newly recruited Junior associates will be evaluated at the end of the probation
● If the evaluation fails to meet the expectation of the SBI, the probation period of such candidates may be extended.
● When there are vacancies available in case of non-joining or resignation by the candidates from the current batch only, then the candidates will be released from the waitlist on a quarterly basis.
● This waitlist will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the Final result of SBI Clerk 2022.
