Odisha OPSC OAS Exam Pattern 2021
The Odisha Civil Service Exam 2021 is conducted by OPSC in three stages. The UPSC Exam is the same exam pattern.
Stage I: OPSC Prelims Exam 2020
Preliminary exam. It consists of two papers of objective type (MCQ).
- Paper I- General Studies(200 marks)
Notification- The Paper I marks will determine the merit list for students taking the mains exam.
- Paper-II: This paper consists of 200 aptitude questions. This is a qualifying paper. Candidates must score 33% on Paper-II, or their Paper I will be discarded.
Notification: Each paper lasts 2 hours.
Stage II: OPSC Mains Examination 2021
Mains Exam: Consists of 5 mandatory papers and four optional papers (with two optional subjects).

Stage III: OPSC OAS Personality Test
All candidates who pass the mains exam will be invited to take a personality test, i.e. Interview. The personality test is 250 marks.
The personality test will assess candidates' mental alertness, clarity and logical expression, critical powers for assimilation, variety and depth of interests, social cohesion, leadership, intellectual and moral integrity, and the balance of judgement.
