IBPS RRB 2024 Exam Pattern

The exam format for selection to the position of Office Assistant differs significantly from the exam pattern for Officer Grade selection.Here is the IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

Candidates who apply for the position of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) must pass the preliminary examination to be considered for the main examination. They will be given a preliminary assignment based on their performance.

Candidates seeking for Officers Scale I must pass the Preliminary Examination before being shortlisted for the Main Examination and then a Common Interview, which will be organized by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS.

Candidates applying for Officers Scale II (Generalists and Specialists) and Officers Scale III will take a single online examination, and those who are shortlisted will be invited to a Common Interview.

IBPS RRB OFFICER SCALE – I, II & III EXAM PATTERN

The IBPS RRB Scale – (PO) test is divided into three stages.

        Preliminary Exam

        Mains Exam

        Interview

A preliminary exam Is held for individuals applying for the positions of Office Assistant and Officer Scale. This is the initial step in the RRB application procedure. It is divided into two components (Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning), each of which is worth 80 points. A sufficient number of students in each main category will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination based on their performance.

You will be summoned for the main exam after passing the preliminary exam.

The major test will consist of five subjects: reasoning, computer, general awareness, numerical ability, and one subject from Hindi or English.In the examination, questions from the same subject will be asked, regardless of whether you filled out the form in Hindi or English.In this exam, 40-40 questions will be asked from each subject, for a total of 200 questions.In terms of the IBPS RRB Officer 2 & 3 syllabus, just one test will be held for both of these positions. The exam patterns for both of these positions differ significantly.

IBPS RRB 2024 Office Assistant exam pattern

There are two steps for the office assistant  pattern. They are

Mains Exam (Single Examination)

Interview

The examination will last 45 minutes. There will be a total of 80 questions in the exam, which will be worth 80 points. Reasoning will be tested with 40 questions and Numerical Ability will be tested with 40 questions. There will be one mark for each question.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre) 2024 Exam Syllabus majorly falls into five sections:

IBPS RRB 2024 Interview - Officers (Scale I, II, and III)

Nodal Regional Rural Bank will conduct IBPS RRB 2024 Interview Process interviews for Officers (Scale I, II, and III) with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the authorized authority. Interviews will be held in a few locations. In the call letter, the shortlisted candidates will be told of the center, address of the venue, time, and date of the interview. Candidates must obtain their interview call letters from the official IBPS website www.ibps.in.

The total number of marks available for the interview is 100. For Officers Scale I, II, and III, the minimum qualifying marks/scores in the interview will not be less than 40% (35 percent for SC/ST/OBC/PWD applicants). For the Officers cadre, the relative weighting (ratio) of CWE and interview will be 80:20.

 

For the IBPS RRB 2024 Office Assistant exam, there will be no interview. The ultimate selection will be based on a candidate's performance in the RRB Clerk mains exam.

Every time a candidate attempts an erroneous response, a quarter of a mark will be deducted.

For all IBPS RRB Recruitment jobs, there will be negative marking in every exam. The formula for negative marking will be the same for everyone. For each incorrect response, 0.25 points will be deducted. That is, if you answer four questions incorrectly, you will lose one mark.

IBPS RRB 2024 PO Clerk Eligibility Criteria

Following  are the IBPS RRB     Eligibility Criteria for different sections

an office assistant bachelor's degree in any area from a recognized university or its equivalent is required for the position of office assistant. The participating RRBs require proficiency in the native language.

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) – Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

 

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager) – Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
