Total Number of Vacancy for Grade “C” Stenographer is: 505.

Total Number of Vacancy for Grade “D” Stenographer is: 696.

SSC STENO ELIGIBILITY

  1. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

 

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

 

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate is issued to him/her by the Government of India.

1. SSC Steonographer is an Online based exam.

2. The total number of question will be 200 and total number of marks will be 200.

5. Each question carries 1 marks and negative marking is 0.25 marks.

Kindly follow the steps to apply the SSC STENOGRAPHER 2020 form Online.

1. Kindly Visit the Official website of SSC STENOGRAPHER 2020. i.e. SSC.NIC.IN
2. Click on “New User” to register for SSC STENOGRAPHER.
3. Enter the following details/Information on Application form.
4. Enter a Valid Email ID to get the notification regarding Admit card/Exams and Result declaration.
5. Use the payment method using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet-Banking/E-wallets etc.
6. Click on Submit.
7. Print the Application form for further reference

Note: The aspirants can apply only through online mode for SSC STENOGRAPHER 2020. Offline mode is not available for SSC STENOGRAPHER 2020.

 

SSC STENO ADMIT CARD

Before the commencement of SSC Stenographer 2019 Exam, SSC will be releasing SSC Stenographer Admit Card for Tier-I exam. Candidates will be able to download SSC Stenographer Call Letter from the official Website of SSC once the Admit Card has been released by the Staff Selection Commission of India.

  • Visit the official website of SSC
  • Click on the link ‘download SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2020’
  • Enter the details as roll number, date of birth, candidate’s name etc.
  • Click on Submit
  • Download the Admit Card if the information mentioned on it is correct.
  • Print  admit card for further necessary application. 

Documents Required with Admit Card:

  • In addition to SSC STENOGRAPHER 2020 Admit Card, candidates need to present a valid Photo ID proof issued by the GOI or the State Government (original as well as a photocopy) for verification.
  • Acceptable photo ID proofs are PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph etc.
