LIC ADO is a competitive exam taken by insurance aspirants hence they must know the LIC ADO eligibility criteria which include details about the educational requirements, degree of education with the minimum percentage of marks, age limit, and other details.

LIC ADO Eligibility - Nationality

The first and the most important stage of LIC ADO eligibility criteria is nationality. The aspirants for the LIC ADO exam must be either a:

      Citizen of India or

      A subject of Nepal or

      A subject of Bhutan or

      A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

      A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanza.

LIC ADO Educational Qualification

The LIC ADO educational qualification for the three categories of posts might be different; thus all aspirants should refer to the guidelines of the LIC ADO eligibility 2023 for whichever category they wish to apply to.

      All the candidates who are interested in applying to any one of the categories among Agents, Employees, and Open Market must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a University in India approved for the fellowship of the Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.

      Candidates with good knowledge of insurance marketing, an MBA degree in Marketing, or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a University in India will be preferred.

LIC ADO Eligibility - Work Experience

Aspirants willing to apply for the post should have the requisite LIC ADO work experience as described below:

Income of not less than ₹1,00,000/- on 50 lives in each of any 3 of these finals years.

Not less than 4 years as an agent or other than an agent(such as

DSE/FSE).

 

Must have brought a net First Year Premium Income of not less than 1,00,000/- on 50 lives ₹ per year in any 3 of the immediately preceding 4 financial years.

Other

Preference would be given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the life insurance industry.
