Candidates applying for the IBPS RRB exam 2020 can apply for the exam by following a certain set of steps:
Candidates must also note that if any discrepancy is found in the application form, IBPS holds the right to reject the application at any time during the recruitment procedure.
Eligibility:
I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate is issued to him/her by the Government of India.
II. Age Limits:
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1990 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1988 and later than 31.05.1999 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1980 and later than 31.05.1999 (both dates inclusive).
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1990 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).
