CISF Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

There are three stages in the CISF Constable selection process which are mandatory for the candidates to clear in order to appear for the next tier. Those who qualify for both the physical test and written examination will appear for the final stage i.e., Document Verification and Medical Test. Below are the recruitment stages for CISF Exam 2023.

● Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST): Successfully registered candidates will be called to appear in PET/PST, for which they have to run 5 km in 24 minutes.

● Written examination.

● Document verification.

● Medical examination.

● The final selection will be based on the selected candidates' merit list.

CISF Physical Test (PET/PST)

There are chest & height measurement for Male (ऊंचाई और छाती मानदंड) candidates in the physical standard test according to the category of the candidates. Those who will qualify for the CISF physical test can appear for the next stage of the recruitment process. Candidates have to run 5 km in 24 minutes for the physical test of the CISF Recruitment exam.

Medical Exam

Aspirants have to undergo a medical exam for CISF Recruitment 2023. According to the official notification, "The medical examination of the candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and ARs issued vide MHA UO No.A.VI-1/2014- Rectt(SSB) dated 05.2015 and MHA OM No. E- 32012/ADG(Med)/DME & RME/DA-1/2020(Part File)/1166 dated 31.05.2021 and as amended from time to time by the Government."
