How to Apply Online for SBI PO 2021?

The selection process for SBI PO

The selection will be held in three phases. Selection will be in the stages of Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Step 1: Preliminary Exam Step 2: Main Exam Step 3: Group Exercise (20 marks), Interview (30 marks) Candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination will be considered for the Main Examination and those selected in it will be considered for the Third Phase. Prelims (Phase-I)

Exam Mode 

The SBI PO Prelims Exam is administered online. Candidates who are taking the SBI PO recruitment exam will be given a computer and will be provided all of the instructions and recommendations that must be followed. Following that, questions will surface, which you must answer one by one.

Subjects

 In the SBI PO Prelims Exam, there will be three portions in which questions will be asked from these three subjects. (i) English Language (ii) Quantitative Ability / Quantitative Ability (iii) Reasoning Ability / Thinking Ability

Number of Questions

There will be 100 questions in total. The English section will have 30 questions, while the Quantitative Ability and Reasoning sections will each have 35 questions.

Question Types

The exam contains multiple-choice objective-type questions. There will be four options for each question. There will only be one right answer.

Marking scheme

Each question will be worth one point. For each accurate answer, you will receive one mark. You will be deducted 0.25 points for each incorrect answer you provide.

Exam Time Duration

SBI PO Exam Pattern – Mains (Phase-II)

Only those candidates who meet the Prelims Exam cutoff will be considered for the next round of the recruitment process. The SBI PO Main is split into two levels. The first level will have an objective test followed by a descriptive test, both of which will take place on the same day. Paper 1- Objective Test Paper 2- Descriptive Test

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern – Objective Test

Mode of Exam: it is also conducted in online mode. Subjects: Paper 1 of the SBI PO Mains Exam will be divided into fo ur sections, each of which will include questions from the following subjects (i) Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude (ii) Data Analysis and Interpretation/ Data Analysis and Interpretation (iii) English Language (iv) General Awareness/ General Awareness Number of Questions: A total of 155 questions will be asked. Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude will be tested with 45 questions, Data Analysis and Interpretation with 35 questions, English Language with 35 questions, and General Awareness with 40 questions. Marking scheme; One-fourth (1/4th) mark will be deducted as a negative marking (penalty) for incorrect answers.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern-Descriptive Test

After the Objective Test, the SBI PO Mains Descriptive Test (Paper-2) will begin. Following the Objective Test, the Descriptive Test (Paper-2) of the SBI PO Mains will begin.He/she is found to have passed the Objective Test with the qualifying marks set by the Bank. After that, the candidate's Descriptive Paper will be scrutinized.

SBI PO Exam Pattern – Group Exercise/ Personal Interview (Phase III)

SBI PO  2021 Interview Process Only those who pass the SBI PO Main Exam will be eligible to participate in the GD and Interview. The applicants who passed both the Descriptive and Objective exams will be ranked from top to bottom based on their total score. Candidates with higher scores will be given priority for the GD and Interview rounds. There will be a total of 20 points available for the Group Exercise / Group Discussion round. The personal interview will be worth 30 points. The Bank will determine the qualifying marks in the Group Discussion and Interview. The bank's official website and the employment newspaper will both publish the final list of selected candidates. The Group Exercise / Group Discussion round will be of 20 marks. The personal interview round will be of 30 marks. The qualifying marks in Group Discussion and Interview will be decided by the Bank. SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate applying for an SBI PO position must meet the eligibility criteria, which include the following:

Nationality

  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Nepalese or Bhutanese can apply
  • A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962 with the purpose of establishing a permanent residence.
  • A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) is a person of Indian descent who has migrated to India from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam, or from the East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the goal of establishing a permanent residence in India.

Age Limit

Applicants should be between 21 and 30 years of age till the time of registration .Aside from that, according to government regulations, there is age relaxation for some categories of candidates. That age relaxation given below.
