The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to release the IBPS PO 2021 notification for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) tentatively. The syllabus is set by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and is most probably the same for the upcoming exams. Based on the latest pattern as given in the notification the exam is going to be conducted in three separate steps. They are:

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination
  • Interview

It is mandatory to get selected in all the parts individually to receive the call letters. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test ( Pre and Mains ) of the online main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be short-listed for the interview. Preliminary Syllabus for IBPS PO

The Prelims Stage of IBPS PO will have three sections of a total duration of 1 hour.

Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

There will be a total of 100 questions and each question will carry 1 mark.

IBPS Mains

This is the second stage of the IBPS Examination. The candidates who will qualify for the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in the mains examination.

There will be 200 MCQ-type questions in the examination.

There will be separate timing for each section in the mains examination.
