Marking scheme: Each correct answer carries five marks. There will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer.

A Candidate can choose a maximum of any three languages from Section IA and Section IB together. However, the third language chosen needs to be in lieu of the sixth domain-specific Subject chosen by the candidate - as applicable (so the maximum number of tests to be taken remains nine only i.e. 2 Languages+six Domain-Specific Subjects+1 General Test OR three Languages+five Domain-Specific Subjects+1 General Test: flexibility is provided to help a candidate apply for many Universities depending on their eligibility conditions). Candidates can choose a maximum of 10 subjects. 

FAQs Regarding CUET 2023 Exam Pattern

Q. When will the CUET Answer Key 2023 be released?

A. The CUET Answer Key 2023 is expected to be released in the third week of June by NTA. This would be a provisional answer key. After reviewing the answer key challenges, the final answer key will be released in the fourth week of June, along with the result.

 

Q. How can I challenge CUET UG 2023 Answer Key?

A. NTA will allow an option for the candidates to be able to challenge the CUET answer key 2023 if they find any discrepancy in the given format. Details for the same will be provided as and when the provisional answer keys are released.

 

Q: What is the last date to submit challenges against the CUET 2023 provisional answer keys?

A: The last date to submit challenges against the CUET UG 2023 provisional answer keys is likely to be by the end of the second week of June. NTA will announce the date while releasing the answer key of CUET 2023.

 

Q. When will the final CUET Answer Key 2023 be released?

A. The final answer keys of CUET UG 2023 are expected to be released on or after the result declaration. The final answer keys will be prepared considering feedback from the candidates and review by the expert panel. NTA will not inform students about the acceptance of the claims individually and will release a common final CUET answer key.

A. The CUET UG 2023 Answer Key will be released online at cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates will have to log in through their registration credentials and download the answer keys.

A. Candidates would need to refer to their respective admit cards to check their CUET Answer Key 2022 online at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

 

Q. How will the CUET scores be calculated?

A. The CUET scores will be calculated as follows: Total marks = (1*number of correct answers) - (0.25*number of incorrect answers)

 

Q: What is the fee to submit a challenge against CUET UG 2023 answer key?

A: The processing fee to submit a challenge against the CUET UG 2023 answer key will be INR 200 per answer key. The amount is non-refundable.

 

Q: Will I be informed about the status of my CUET answer key challenge?

A: No, NTA will not inform the status of the submitted answer key challenge to candidates.

 

Q: What happens after submitting a challenge against the CUET UG 2023 answer key?

A: NTA will set up a panel of subject experts to verify each and every submitted challenge and based on that, the final answer keys and result of CUET UG 2023 will be computed.
