UPSC Eligibility:

I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

 

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

 

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate is issued to him/her by the Government of India.

The Application charge is INR 100 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates whereas SC, ST, PwD, and Female candidates are exempted from fee payment.

UPSC Syllabus:

In UPSC, most of the cases the syllabus of IAS, Civil service, IPS etc is based on General Science, Technical Aptitude, Current Affairs and General Knowledge.

UPSC Apply Online:

Step I: Visit the official website – upsc.gov.in

Step II: Click on the link ‘UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020’ under Active Examinations section

Step III: Enter your Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, and Mobile Number.

Step IV: Enter the captcha and click on the “Submit” button. You will receive your login credentials at registered ID.

The steps to download admit card for UPSC 2020 has following process.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Download IAS Admit Card 2020’ 

Step 3: Read the instructions mentioned carefully and click ‘Yes’

Step 4: Enter Registration ID or Roll Number followed by the Date of Birth of the candidate

Step 5: Submit after entering the captcha in the given blank field. Print IAS Admit Card

UPSC Result:

UPSC will release the result as per the dates mentioned in the calendar above. Keep update yourself with the information because the result for all the exams will be published at the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in. The result will be published in the form of scorecards. The merit list displaying the names of all shortlisted candidates will be published soon after the announcement of the result on the official website. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for the next level of the selection process as mentioned in the UPSC notification.

UPSC Medical Test:

On the basis of recruitment process the medical test is requires in several post. It is the process of UPSC to ask candidates to go through several medical test. The result of the medical tests is considered while preparing the final merit list. All the qualified candidates of the written exam followed by interview are required to undergo a medical test, and the results are submitted to UPSC for further proceedings. All the qualified candidates are required to undergo the following test at the allotted medical centre.
