Aspirants must satisfy any of the SSC JE nationality clauses provided below:
● Either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
● A Tibetan refugee came to India before 1 January 1962 to stay permanently in India.
● An Indian who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
● A candidate shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
● An applicant for whom a certificate of eligibility is required may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of employment will not be made until the applicant has received the required eligibility certificate from the Government of India.
