The apprenticeship is just three years long. As a result, chosen applicants for SBI Apprentice positions will only be paid a monthly stipend for three years. ●      The applicant would only be eligible to apply for one State's vacancy. An applicant who applies for one State's vacancy is ineligible to apply for any other State's vacancy.

Candidates will be selected for the three-year role of SBI Apprentice. The Bank is not obliged to provide full-time work to the Apprentices after the Apprenticeship period has ended. After three years from the date of their appointment, apprentices will only be selected for a permanent job role in SBI based on their performance during the three years. 

Candidates will receive an internship certificate after completing the training period. This experience would undoubtedly come in handy if they work in another private bank.  SBI Apprentice Program prepares the candidates in advance for a future banking job.
