The RBI Grade B exam is conducted every year by Bank of India to fill in the vacant seats across the branches of RBI. RBI has split the selection procedure for the RBI Grade B Officer post into three different stages to shortlist efficient and effective candidates.
Candidates who fulfill the entire RBI Grade B eligibility norms and are interested in applying for the post need to undergo each stage of selection as directed by RBI. The selection process of RBI Grade B is completely in-charged by the officials of RBI.

The phases of the RBI Grade B Selection Process are as follows:
● Phase 1 - Online Objective Test: This is the qualifying stage. The marks obtained in this stage won’t contribute to the result. But the applicants need to score well to qualify to the next stage of the selection process. It comprises 200 questions to be answered in 120 minutes. There is a sectional timing allotted to each subject.
● Phase 2 - Online Objective Test: It has a blend of objective and descriptive exams and the details of the same are mentioned here. There is a separate designated time frame allotted to each section.
● GD and Interview- This is the final stage of the selection process. The addition of the scores obtained in this stage and phase 2 will make up the final results.
Phase 1 of the RBI Grade B selection process is an online objective test conducted for a total of 200 marks within a time duration of 2 hours. The details of the Phase 1 selection stage for the RBI Grade B Officer post are as follows:

Phase 1 of the RBI Grade B selection process is a combination of an online objective test and a Descriptive test. The details of the Phase 2 selection stage for the RBI Grade B Officer post is as follows:

● Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on an aggregate of marks obtained in Phase 2 (Paper 1 +Paper 2 +Paper 3).
● The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for an interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.
● The interview will carry 75 marks.
● A candidate may opt for an interview either in Hindi or English.
1) Each Candidate has to qualify in each of the objective tests as per the marks prescribed by the banks.
2) Never forget about the negative marking in these objective tests.
3) Candidates will be selected for the interview round on the basis of the marks obtained in the main examination.
4) So, it is very important for a student to not secure the cutoff marks but also score enough marks to make it to the merit list.

As per the previous year analysis, RBI Grade B exam is considered a moderate level exam. The English Language is the easiest section while Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability sections include a moderate level of questions.
