Candidates need to secure the cut-off marks both sectional as well as state-wise, set by RBI to clear and qualify for the next round of selection procedure i.e. Mains. Marks obtained in the prelims will not be considered for the final selection of RBI Assistant.
The Mains exam is the second stage under the RBI Assistant Selection Procedure. The mains exam holds an important role in the RBI Assistant Selection Procedure. The overall selection is based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the mains exam, so it is very important for a student to score more marks in the mains exam. The Mains exam is also an objective test consisting of 200 marks. Below is the table showing a detailed exam pattern for RBI Assistant Mains 2023 exam.

This is the third & final stage of the 2023 RBI Assistant selection procedure. Candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the state concerned as detailed below. Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language shall be disqualified.

1) Each candidate has to qualify in each of the objective tests as per the marks prescribed by the banks.
2) Never forget about the negative marking in these objective tests.
3) The candidate will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the mains examination.
4) So, it is very important for a student to not secure the cut off marks but also score enough marks to make it to the merit list.
