Punjab TET Selection Process

Category I

TET is conducted in terms of checking the eligibility level of all candidates who wish to pursue a teaching career.

TET is conducted to recruit candidates for lower primary level teaching jobs.

Teachers will be allotted Classes 1 to 5, depending on their scores.

Category II

TET is conducted for all candidates and after that, they are appointed as Upper Primary level teachers.

After clearing this exam, aspirants are appointed as teachers for Classes 6 to 8.
