NIACL AO Eligibility Criteria 2023

All aspirants need to fulfil the prescribed and stated NIACL AO eligibility criteria 2023 to get recruited for the desired post. NIACL AO Nationality Criteria

Eligible and competent candidates must ensure the nationality criteria before filling out the form and before applying for the exam to avoid facing hassle at later stages. A candidate applying for the NIACL AO 2023 exam must be either of the following -

      Citizen of India, or

      The subject of Nepal, or

      The subject of Bhutan, or

      Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

      A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates falling in the categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) have to provide a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India. .

NIACL AO Age Limit Criteria 2023

The candidates must check the minimum and maximum age limit for moving forward in the recruitment process. They can mark the NIACL AO age limit which are as follows:

      Under NIACL AO Age Eligibility Criteria, Minimum: 21 years, Maximum: 30 years. (As on 01.04.2021)

      A candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd April 1991 and not later than 1st April 2000 (both dates inclusive).

NIACL AO Age Relaxation

Those belonging to certain reserved categories are provided age relaxations on the upper age limit. There is some relaxation to the upper age limits based on the NIACL AO selection procedure given below:

The ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service as on 01.12.2018 and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three months’ notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment

NIACL AO Educational Qualification

Aspirants need to fulfil the NIACL AO educational qualification in order to be considered eligible for the requisite job profile. They also need to possess the requisite percentage in order to move further in the recruitment process.

Generalists: An aspirant need to possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Note: - The candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as of 30.09.2023.
