CTET Eligibility 2024

CTET Eligibility was changed for both papers. Those currently pursuing Teaching Training Courses (TTC) can apply for the CTET exam. But they must go through the Paper 1 and Paper 2 eligibility before filling out the CTET Application Form, the Educational Qualification, Nationality, and CTET age limit in the notification released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. In case they fail to meet these parameters, then the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Revised CTET Eligibility

The eligibility criteria was revised by the National Council for Teaching Education (NCTE) for candidates pursuing Teacher Training Courses (TTC) in 2024. We have provided the changes made in the CTET eligibility criteria in detail:

Those enrolled in a Teaching Training Course (TTC) are considered "Pursuing" and are eligible for the exam.

Those whose appointment has been challenged may take the CTET exam.

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% or equivalent and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

They must also meet the eligibility requirements as decided by the appropriate agency or recruitment body, such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan or Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
