Educational Qualification

Educational requirements are required to find if the candidates are eligible to perform their jobs. The following are the requirements which must be fulfilled for CISF Constable qualification criterion:

      Candidates must be an intermediate pass or must have a 12th certificate from a government-recognized university/institute.

      An aspirant must have a 35wpm typing speed in English and 30 wpm in Hindi.

      Candidates for the position of Constable/Fire must have completed their 12th grade or equivalent with a Science subject. The applicant for the position of Constable (Tradesman) must have completed 10th grade and have an ITI from a recognized university.

Age Limit

Age requirements are a vital factor for the CISF exam failing which candidature will be cancelled. Candidates can check the age limit for CISF Exam below.

      The minimum age limit is 18 Years.

      The maximum age limit is 23 Years.

      The CISF age limit is also applicable for candidates from the North East Region.

Age Relaxation

As discussed above, CISF Head Constable candidates must be between the ages of 18 to 23. But reserved category candidates are entitled to have certain age relaxations on the upper age limit. Candidates must check the age relaxation criteria below.

Physical Standards

The authority laid down required physical standards for candidates aiming for CISF Head Constable post in terms of height and chest expansion. Those from the general category must be 170 cm tall and have a chest measurement of 80 to 85 cm (5cm expansion). The standards are different for the CISF Exam depending on the category.
